I'm confused...is there actually only...me... representing the Mid-A S2000 owners planning to show. Trying to see about timing...but my timing will be different than others if I'm going in to show solo . Show begins at 2pm Saturday. I guess I'll figure to get there ~ 1pm to set The Bruised Banana up & knock the street dust off her .

So if I'm reading this thread correctly, then I see:
  • w1ngman -- Registered, entered, and a'waitin'
  • marshallbc -- Seems you're coming to Spectate...not Participate. True?
  • FF2Skip -- Um, pretty sure that's a "check it out" vote at best . Skip, you coming down to Spectate?
  • brerspidur -- Hey, b-day boy...you gettin hammered all day, or are you saving that for after the show ? Would you be Spectatin' or Participatin' if you do come?
  • 1a-race -- Can't tell from your post...you Spectatin'? Participatin'?
  • C45P312 -- is "I'll be there" a vote for Spectatin' or Participatin'?
  • Black Nugget -- Chad, you just talkin' on the block, or are you gonna be there as well? Kinda gathered you were just posting here to offer clarifications for me and others. True?
Mrcln1 -- If work holds out...you coming to Spectate? Or if work holds out, you'll be Participatin'?

I'm a little disappointed in that I've registered (did that on Oct 13th)...and I don't have a *SINGLE* thing to show for it. Other than a confirmation e-mail that my mulah was received...as well as some personal communications with a female event coordinator that assisted me with getting me back my $10 that I over-included since I'm not having a booth...I've not seen nuthin' regarding (*AS AN EXHIBITOR*) what is expected of me. When do I arrive? Where do I go? How long will the show last? yada, yada. Kinda disturbing... I sent an e-mail over the weekend to the same coordinator that helped me with the other issue. I'm hopeful to hear something back from her early enough this week...but seriously, I would have expected something to come in the mail, or an e-mail with a full-blown itinerary, etc.

Well, just got my answers back from Alyson. Obviously, I'm not use to actually entering my car into such shows. This is my daily driver...and while I'll still keep it entered (what the hell...), I had noooooo idea the car would be outta commish for sooo long Saturday ...

Hello, Dave
You are registered. Your confirmation is your paypal transaction number,
which I already have. The load in times for car registrants are on the
website, which are friday, 5-8pm or you can choose to come in sat. from
8-12pm. Please do not be there at 2pm because the load in docks will
be closed and no cars will be allowed to enter the building. There will
be people outside instructing you where the load in docks are. The
judging will start around 3pm. As for the time, they will finish, it
totally depends. But I can assure you that they will be done before
7pm. The show ends at 10pm; however, you cannot take your car out
before then due to safety purposes. All cars will be allowed to load
out after the winners have been announced.

If there's anything else, please email me back!

Alyson

Welp...I'm scratching my entry. That's just too damned long of a day IMO. Sorry to those that *are* actually going there to show. It could have been fun...but geez ...basically 10 friggin' hours is just too much for me (how 'bout that!...guess I'm really starting to show my age finally ).

Enjoy without me!

I'll just be spectating. I still haven't decided which bumper, lip or both I want to replace my scuffed bumper with. Somebody decied to bounce off my front bumper at Food Lion and leave so I'm not show worthy, but I will be there to veiw.

Anyone know if they usually have tickets left at the door and how much they are? I'd hate to drag one of my friends along and it be sold out or the tickets be $30 plus dollars. I'd pay it but I can't expect them to just to keep me company.

Thanks,

Mrcln1
