Susuka:

I think it is just you and me man, and most likely instructor Gregg. I think the big showing will be in May.

You guys sitting on the fence, better sign up for May before all spots are taken.

First off, ninedeep, if you are coming out to watch, get there early, bring your helmet (if you have one) and put yourself on the waiting list when you get there. More times than not people won't shown and you'll get on the track that day.

Oh yeah, bring $185 + lunch money.

As for insurance, I don't know how you explained it to State Farm but I recommend you phrase it as a "driver education school" or something similar. Don't say that it is at a racetrack unless pushed. If need be, use this blurb from the BSR Website:
Students will receive both classroom and in-car instruction on ocular driving, skid control, and cornering techniques.
If they ask who administers the school, and they freak out when you say, "Bill Scott Racing," you can tell them they train many of the local police departments as well as the offering counter-terrorism schools.

i have not seen anything big happen in all the times i have been to summit, but don't plan on your insurance to continue coverage if you do submit a claim from any racetrack.

Helmets - call summit...i think they rent them... has to be snell95 or better, so just rent theirs!

I am thinking about going on 4/19. It all depends on whether I have TSB054 (second time) done within the next week or two so that I have sufficient time to break in the new clutch. If not, I will probably end up going on 5/3.
