States with the priciest speeding tickets

Says Maryland is one of the top four priciest states for speeding tickets for first tmie offenders,. And here I was thinking VA was tough on speeders.

If you re-read it, it actually just says its one of the highest. 
If you click the link to have them all sorted there are still a lot of states that are worse. Did you see those states like Delaware? Max of $20 for a speeding ticket.....what the hell? PA says $35....I dont understand where they are getting those numbers.

Lets set up a speeding meet in Delaware this summer! I got my $20.

$35 for the actual ticket in PA, then they tack on other charges. Something like a mandatory contribution to MADD or some other organization which is twice the actual ticket.

I lived in PA for two years, and the rest in Maryland. I must say that I never got popped while in PA. My driving habits did not change. Maybe just my luck and/or the differing amount of emphasis the two states place on moving violations.
As for the Delaware speed meet, maybe we could set up in Wilmington, so if we do get caught, we pay our $20, cross right in to Pennsylvania, have some fun and pay our $35 if we get caught there.
