Default Spark Plug TSB in Va Beach?

Anyone in the Norfolk area get their spark plug TSB done yet?

I called Checkered Flag about it and the service guy said they wouldn't do it outright unless I was "having a problem with the vehicle." I responded by saying the problem was going to be a trashed motor when the plugs come loose, but he didn't budge.

I'm also worried I won't get the bulletin in the mail since I moved after buying my car, although I did update my address on Honda's website.

Is there a dealer here that's now familiar with getting this tsb done? Hell, I'll drive up to Williamsburg or Richmond if I have to for good service.

I got the exact same story at Hall Honda - although they did say they would check my plugs to see if they were loose. I'm going in tomorrow for that...

Ah, so Hall was a little more compliant? I guess I'll have to wait until the letter gets sent out. I hate poor customer service. I thought I was going to be done with that after going to a Honda product.

Actually, I'm thinking about just changing the plugs myself and putting in the Denso Iridiums- anyone know where you can find those? Besides, I need to change out my air/cabin filters, too. The only problem is finding time for it since they always have us flying or studying our asses off over at Oceana.

Actually, Hall was anything BUT accommodating! Read my thread over at:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=72290

To sum it up, they refused to even LOOK at my spark plaugs until I got the letter from Honda....

Try Performance Auto Salon on VA Beach Blvd...just past Lynnhaven Pkwy on the left..by Dunkin Donuts. If they don't have them, I'm sure they can get 'em.
