From Sam Stevens:
"Our 2nd event at the new location. Also, watch for an additional event to be posted soon, about a gathering at Doraldos (Italian Restaurant) later the same day as this event. The idea is we gather for Cars & Coffee and because it will be just before Christmas, that we go our seperate ways for the day to finish up Christmas shopping errands or whatever and then, somewhere between 4 & 5 pm we regather at Doraldo's for a holiday buffet. The buffet will be 4 courses, and the reps told me that it would be $10.00 per person. You can't even go to McDonalds for 10 bucks... Please comment regarding your interest on this additional event - and Pass the Word to our non- Facebook friends. See you in December! Sam (C&C Wmbg)."

Festive fish, jumping dolphins, frolicking porpoises – all in bright, colored lights against the clear night-time sky, are the stars of McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach, a nautical and holiday-themed light display at the Virginia Beach oceanfront! They are joined by Santa, elves, and a 40-foot tall Christmas tree erected on the beach and in the beautiful parks along the Virginia Beach boardwalk.
It’s the only time of the year that cars get to drive right on the boardwalk - for over 30 blocks! 30,000 vehicles a year make the trek through this holiday wonderland. This “Fanta-Sea” of lights is sure to dazzle and amaze holiday travelers visiting Virginia Beach. Hotels create special packages that include free tickets to the light show. New displays are added each year so it’s never the same show twice! One of the highlights is the giant “12 Days of Christmas” display, where some fixtures stand 20 and 30 feet high!
A free CD of holiday music is provided to each vehicle entering McDonald’s Holiday Lights at the Beach, making it easy to see AND hear why this event has been named one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s “Top 20 November Events” and the American Bus Association's "Top 100 Events in North America for 2011!"

I'm hoping this has a good turnout. I have a feeling it'll be the last time I get down that way before the new year. I'd really like to be able to put my suspension back together and on the car before this meet but I'm not sure if that'll happen

If the rest of the parts I need come in by tomorrow then I'll slap it back together. I don't have any free time on Friday to work on the car.
I did try a test spot on the hood of my car because I've felt the need to re-detail the car and it looks like a simple polish will be good enough and I won't have to compound except for a few small spots.
