Default son of a bi***

PART 1
ok so im pulling out of Ptuning from getting my car lowered on s techs. im at the stop sign about to pull onto centreville road and a old fart in a honda civic rams his car into the back of mine. im like freaking out cussing an all i tell him to follow me to a parking lot while im hoping its not bad, so i get out and all i see is 2 scrathes and a chip- nothing too noticable until u get real close to the car- thank god
so we exchange info and call our insurance agencies and report it, the lady refers me to platinum auto body in sterling and im happy because they bring their cars to my work all the time.
PART 2
so i bought a fujita cold air intake from them as well, i go back to my brothers house to install it, it took forever because i couldent get the vibration mount to go on right and then when i start it up it sputters and idles very rough and black smoke is comming out my tailpipes- turns out i had the sensors mixed around, after spending about 2 hours for the whole install it started up and everything was working right. so we take it for a spin and i finally heard vtec for the first time in my car, and then theres this loud ticking sound comming from my engine either near my intake manifold or in one of my cylinders and cant seem to find wat is really wrong with it, any ideas of what it can be?

so far for 09 its gottin lowered, hks hi power exhaust, CAI and a 10 inch JL audio sub thanks to bo,

I think the ticking is normal, i believe its the valves, see if it does it when its warmed up. I could be wrong tho
