Default Some w1ngman pics

w1ngman did my SLK headlights on Sunday and I took some shots. He took his time and did a great job (except for one tiny accident that I can live with). I tried the Meguiars Plastx on my lens but the etching and scratches are still there-it's not abrasive enough and I tried hand and power drill. Going to try Crystal Headlight Restorer next per his recommendation from the forum View Sorry for the pics overload.

Wow, loving that SLK. The blacked out headlights look great, nice work Dave!

And Dave, your property and house look amazing.

Looks nice. You should come out to Mercedes AutoX with that car.

Thanks James

...As for my mistake noted but not thoroughly explained, I reassembled the headlamps a little too quickly (didn't let the painted inserts dry/cure long enough) and sadly, a 1/4" snip of black paint rubbed off the insert and transferred to the backside of the clear front half of the headlamp assembly . Lesson learned: Paint needs to dry for at LEAST one hour (dry to the touch ain't enough...).

Definitely love your car James! And I flip x10 over how your retractable HT works (*that* is 100% MB goodness!)
