Softtop slashed-Finally Replacing!

Softtop slashed-Finally Replacing!
My top was slashed a couple weeks ago and the claims adjuster recommended Adler Mandel in Rockville. Has anyone used this company?
Also, I'm considering replacing the top with a Robbins top. Anyone have any experience or opinions on their tops?
At this point, I am considering replacing the top myself, although I don't know if I'm quite up to the challenge. I am all about saving money and my experience, especially lately, has been that if you want something done right, do it yourself if at all possible. I hate paying a decent chunk of change just to have someone do a poor job. I just don't want to start something and not be able to finish it.
As always, any advice or info you guys can give me is greatly appreciated.

Grab a top from topsonline.com
Cheaper and the same material/quality.
If you decide to do it yourself, let me know and I'll help in return for help with mine (when I finally get around to purchasing one).

I have a Robbins top that was installed on mine and it's A+++ and had it installed at a shop by Tyson's.
It's not cheap for the top and install but the shop definitly did a 100% perfect job and he's worked on it before several times.

Confused here. Are you trying to save money in order to reduce the amount of your deductible? Otherwise, if the insurance company is paying, I'm guessing you'd want to get the best possible job done.

You are right Skip, I do want the best possible job done. Unfortunately, the last couple things I've paid to have done ranged from subpar to straight out bad. When this has happened, I've ended up fixing everything myself which is why, at this point, I'm hesitant to have someone else do the work. For example, I got a quote from a dealership on replacing the top and the softtop would cost $1000 and the labor would be $1400. I asked how many s2000 top replacements they had done and I was told they have only done one ever. I just feel like this is a recipe for disaster.
I am not saying I'm not going to have someone install the top for me, only that I am weighing all of my options. Having a partner to tackle the project with, though, would definitely make me lean towards doing it myself.

The top itself costs roughly $800, expect something in the area of $700-$1k for labor. That ain't no chump change if you're paying it yourself, but if the insurance company is paying directly...
