Default small hole in the axle boot- how to repair?

Hey guys!
So I found a small puncture in the right outer axle boot. It's spitting some grease out so I need to get it fixed.

I can buy new set of axle boot kits .... or I can try and fix the hole without taking the axle out. (the hole is really small)

I know that the right way is to replace the boot... but it'll require dissasembly of the cv joint whitch I never done before. Has anyone done it and have any input?

I'm also gonna try some sort of rubber cement or glue of some sort... has anyone tried that? If yes than what kind?

Thanks for the input!

Right way: replace the boot.

Quick way: lots of duct tape wrapped around the boot.

InlinePRO S2000 Differential Kit

InlinePRO has developed a kit using 6061 billet alumnium to custom mount a R200 ( Nissan 300zx NON-TURBO 1990-1996 ) Differential into your S2000. The R200 uses a 4.08 gear, which is real close to the S2000 4.10. This allows the speedometer to be real similar to stock. With this differential kit, we have launched street car s2000 with drag radials and slicks making 500-675 rwhp. This differential is also in s2000 street class, race car making 800+ rwhp.

The kit includes:
InlinePRO Differential Billet Mounts
Driveshaft Shop Level 5.9 Pro-Series axles (with hubs and extended studs)
Driveshaft Shop Driveshaft

* Customer must supply their own R200 rear differential.

Excellent for FI cars too!

It's not terribly difficult, the hardest part is probably removing the axle. Replacing the boot is messy though and it really helps to have a second set of hands to hold everything in place while you clamp on the boot bands.

If the outer CV is the giant ball type, you just have to knock the cage off the axle spline with a brass drift punch.
