Is the S your daily driver? I'm not sure I could have an Elise as a daily. Then again, I've only looked at them up close.. never actually driven one. Will you track the Elise? If it's a weekend toy and you'll push the heck out of it, go for it! And give a ride some day!

i only drive my S on the weekends haha and i push the hell outta it. Lotus isn't the most comfortable ride some don't even have power windows but who cares im not in it for comfort.. i probably won't track it though. that car is so nice but the aftermarket for the S is endless that and i love the car.

yea, but they are sooo small

personally I wouldnt get one, instead spend the money on some coilovers sway bar etc and maybe a SC or something and youll have a much better car

(in my uneducated opinion)

I went down this road a year ago, and ended up keeping the S. I've never regretted that decision.

A guy I work with is getting an Elise once the winter ends. I've looked at the Elise and decided I couldn't ever own one because it's too impractical for me.

Gorgeous car though, if you can make it work I'd say go for it.
