check NSX prime too

but it would kinda be redundant to drop more money into the S to make it run 12s then look for a NSX. just save up until you find an NSX you want.

nsxprime has a checklist for each year, if I remember.

Yeah. It seems to be a good baseline to help a person out when looking for a NSX.

I'd PM Phil (Ruined 2) and Jeff (hardtopguy) for info on the NSX. They both own one and could give you some good advice.

For starters, know that pricing for an NSX is a bit more than expected. You can check Kelly Blue Book Value for an NSX, yet it will be much less than what you'll ever find one for.

NSX Prime is good, yet you will notice that you'll contact possible sellers, then go days before hearing a response.

Ebay is good, that is where I bought mine.

AutoTrader is alright, however just like NSX Prime many people that I contacted never replied.

Not sure how you are financially, however if you are planning to secure a loan for this vehicle - you'll need to purchase a 2000 or newer. Most financial institutions limit the amount they will finance and length of a loan to this time.

Looking at an 91-99' NSX limited me to 10.5 - 18.5% APR with a maximum loan of 5 years / 60 months. Picking a 00-05' NSX offered me 5.5 - 11.5% Interest for as long as 6 years / 72 months.

I believe it was 1995 that they switched to Drive by Wire - which personally I despise in my NA2, however I do love the Targa Top!

Best of luck with everything... keep your eye out for a Berlina NA1 in the Fredricksburg Area. Owner states vehicle is okay, yet the CarFax states the vehicle was registered in a county that was declared a national flood disaster. Plus has been in an accident and been repainted. - Thanks to Skip for looking over this vehicle for me

thanks guys for all the help. i currently have the used car manager at my job keeping an eye out for one for me. i will be trading in/selling my telefonica gsxr and my toyota tundra AND my s2000 for this one. may take quite awhile for me to find one though im very picky. i know i want a 97+ preferably 99-00 unless i find an extremely clean older one. i don't mind the older ones to much just because the cars going to be modified anyways. its all still up in the air if i sell my truck and bike i might get a vortech sc with all that extra money
