Far from it. Ive just come to grips that this is the way america functions. It sucks yes, but nothing we can do about it...

I can't say I disagree with you. Still, aside from the theraputic benefits of occasionally venting about it, it is nice to know that one is not alone in the the view of how absurd it is.

As for doing anything about it, I suppose one can do nothing but raise their own children (when the time comes) to recognize that it is wrong and hope that the next generation has a better chance. Even then I guess its an uphill battle given the number of people raising children along with you to idolize pop culture figures. But, hey, its something

I will raise my children the same way you and I were, to view this as It is very sad to see this happen to sean taylor, but it is far from front page news. The only thing I have sworn off is celeb news, I dont care about their personal lives or who they are dating, what they do on a saturday night. Entertain me then go home!

Its all so staged and fake, only news I watch is sportscenter and weather channel!
