Default Scratched Rim

i ran into a curb & scratched my rim pretty good, anyone know if this can be repaired???? if so, can you refer me to a place that can do this & do it well??? i've been searching around & the only places i could find that do this kind of thing are located in jersey & cali. i can go anywhere in the DC/Metro area...

I'll second that reccomendation!

They repaired the a wheel on my Jetta when Goodyear took a chunk out it during balancing. I was very happy with their work. They charged $90 for the repair in 2000 which included wheel balancing so you don't even have to remove the tire.

When I was there they had some wheels that looked like they came off a Porsche that they were going to fix that didn't look repairable at all, so I think they can do some amazing stuff.

goodyear didn't cover the charge for the repair??? if goodyear took a chunk out of my wheel i would raise hell..

It took some "negotiating" but they eventually covered the cost. They tried to convince me that the cut was already in the rim. The car at that time was one month old and the rim was perfect before they got a hold of it to fix leak caused by a roofing nail.
