Should be the same price as any other OEM hardtop. $3,499 according to www.automobiles.honda.com.

I thought CR comes with the hardtop. Isn't that so? If it comes with hardtop at around $36K, that isn't so bad.

what on this car is cheap tho
Parts pricing is relative to the original MSRP of a car. The Honda S2000 is now a $35,000 car (more for the CR). It is easy to think parts are expensive when you bought a 2000 S2000 for $10,000 and parts are still priced for a $30,000 car. On top of that, most people financially "stretched" to buy a S2000, so it is financially tougher to buy parts.
When you think S2000 parts are expensive think of M3 and Porsche owners. When I sold my S2000 for a M3 I discovered entry-level exhausts were $1,000 - intakes started at $500 for a crappy one, and I can go on and on. Porsche....ha - you don't even want to know. Once you go that route, and realize the relativity of the pricing, Honda and Mugen parts aren't bad at all.
Yep, Checkered Flag has had the CR for a little while. I think we may have someone interested in it
Hall's won't be available for sale till after the January Auto Show. Extra finger prints are free of charge

Did I mention it has no governor? So the top speed is much higher than a regular S2.

Sounds like the salesperson was full of sh*t. Current S2000's don't have governors and are pretty much gearing limited to about 175, thrown down a hill.

CR comes with a hardtop, but no soft top. And no radio or AC. Those are add-ons.
