S2000 Window Tinting (Help) - Where and how much?
Need to get the side windows tinted this week before I head out of town on the 4th. Got two identical quotes ($139.00) from two places in Rockville (The Tint Shop and some other place). This feels a bit high to me considering the car only has two relatively small side windows. I've heard good things about The Tint Shop but I don't want to be paying that much. Are these prices in line with what you've seen? Good/bad experiences?
Thanks for your input! And have a great 4th! Put those flags out!!!

Dunno if you'd wanna drive this far...but for the rate, heck . Here's a ==> link <== to when I recently posted about a Richmond area shop. $50 for 35% Titanium Tint (*and* I had him tint my rear plastic window as well...details in the link).

Hey Hiro,
Try California Tint in Tysons. They did several cars of mine and the job was very good. Two Toyota Supras, Honda Accord coupe, Prelude, and Honda Passport. All the cars were $120 and the Passport was $160. I think that is very reasonable.

i think you should look around and see who give you like a life time garuntee, like i got my windows tinted in NY and if i ever get bubles or a tear i can take it back and they would fix it for me, cost me like 150 though but they did the back glass window also.

They have a $20 off coupon in their specials tab on their site. Good place, guarantees work and I have used them myself. Excellent work.

East Coast Tint company is hands down the best tint shop in Va they do some of the most amazing coustm tint jobs around and they are also 50 dollars for the 2 front windows 120 for 2 roll downs is way over priced. My friend owns that shop and is a very nice guy you can call them with any questions there number is in my sig. There shop is also in richmond he uses Lumar tint with a lifetime gaurntee.

I never implied that $120 was fair for two windows, but rather compared it to the job of the particular car. I assume that for two windows, it would be in the neighborhood of $50. And I couldn't imagine driving far to save a few dollars. Which ever place you decide to go Hiro, please let us know how it went.
