Default S2000 Club field trip to the National Grand Prix

Hey guys-

Shall we do a group buy of tickets? Who's in?

Seating info from the email:

Gregg is arragning to buy 2 "Super Passes" for me. It would probably be best to coordinate with him so that we can all sit together as they're reserved seats.....

I'll be there. I won't be able to bring the S though. Parking is hard to come by. I have to ride with someone else. I already have a ticket.

Oh yeah, I just got my email too (I've been out for a couple of days). Any ideas where the group will be sitting? I'm going to pick up a couple of S passes.

There's no need to park there, the Metro stops right next to the course. In fact, the metro ride in from the east will take you directly over the course.

I'll be there! I'd like to do the $500 package, but right now there are too many bills, so I'll do the 3 day for $150. Count me in. I read that there will be NO PARKING on site. I'd suggest we meet at a Metro stop somewhere and ride in together. Any suggestions on a Metro stop?

If we take the Metro from the New Carrolton stop, the train will take you directly over the course.

You can see the "Metro" tracks in the middle of the course.

I love the AMLS, I've been to the '99 Sebring, '99 PLM and the '00 Charlotte races. I not sure
about this race, the course is VERY short and tight. I afraid there will be one full course caution
after another. The ticket price seem really high and you can't bring in a cooler.

It just sucks that they expect a fan to sit in the July DC sun and not let them bring a cooler.
