just reviewing the video I was around 1:44-1:45... but i didnt get my last two sessions on there... I would hope I ran a little faster than that. George pulled 43s on toyos... and the hoosiers were alot faster than that. Im no where near Georges level, but i was hopeing me on hoosiers= george on toyos

Thanks Pete!
The main place I am feeling to slow was entering the bridge straight (turn 8)
entering the carasel... I was braking too early( ) and scared to drop in because of the cones there.
I felt much better during the last two sessions, I wish I could have goten them on tape. I was shifting into second @ turn 18 and turn 14... and I was deffinatly hard on throttle 14- bigbend to 17 during the last session. My car does it fine, I was just being a agian!
turn 2 needs work, i agree. I could use more speed on the stone house straight.
I thought I did a good job on 3-4-5... thats the way I first learned it. stay way to the outside and go straight through 6.
im a little nervous exiting the carasel... i felt my car do what georges did last year a couple times. try to turn right but it keeps running left.
either way, i would deffinatly like you to ride along with me for a couple laps next time. I could use a professional watching giving me pointers.

I agree that turns 2 and 8 are tricky. Turn 2 is off camber and slightly blind with little run off, it took some nuts to wait for the late apex. I found myself doing quick corrections to keep the tail in line through 2.
For turn 8 I found that Pete's method of early apexing worked well. I stayed in 3rd and lift oversteered my way around the turn then floored it.
I shifted to 5th right before the jump so I could be on the gas fully when the car came back down.
The carosel was a big improvement for me over last time. After popping out of the carosel I was able to go full throttle then turn in. I used one steering input for the turn in which perfectly set me up for the quick left hander.
I was through Big Bend as well, however, that turn was eerily similar to the Kink at Calabogie Nonetheless, I was able to approach my previous runs on R-comps through there by the end of the weeeknd

I early apex T8 to keep up my revs but I have also been experimenting downshifting to second. I have not had enough time to look at my data so I am not sure which is faster. I think in your cars with LSD and decent power, your line looked good, maybe just brake a little later going in and increase your entry speed 1-2 mph.
Nervous exiting the carosel? Because you think you will plow through T11? You should be full throttle out of the carosel, center exit, just don't try to apex T11 (even brake tap her if you have to). Widen your line through T11 with the important thing being apexing T12.
I like your line through T3/4/5. My line is almost identical, I just run about 2' to the right of your line through the first 3/4 of the turn complex.
Not sure you should need to downshift into 2nd at T18 (might well be faster at T14 since it is so slow). Your line through T18 was a little tight, let the car roll out a little further and there are less bumps and more traction out there so you can carry more speed and might not need to downshift.

I'm amazed at how consistent your line is!! I have to learn that.

I took turn 18 way outside once and hit all the pebbles... so I was probably over compensating for that. also since I was shifting into 2nd (which George did, in turn is why I do it ) made me slower and allowed a tighter/and slower line through 18.
leaving the carasel points you to the left, so I leave it a little early. probably not the best idea? it unsettles the car.
basically I need to suck it up and buy one of those thingys george and you have to make this conversation easier.
traq quest, or DL1 or whatever its called
