Default Reversing = Smelly, and makes me cry.

So my driveway is on a pretty steep hill. Its liek a 40 degree incline, if not more, and umm, whenever I come back from college or work or anywhere to park on this driveway, 2 things usually happen.

1, The car stalls.
(I get mad)

2, I get the car where I want it, but I can tell I am burning the clutch, cause there is quite some slipping and it smells like cat piss.
(I start to cry, and I go to my room, close the door, and cry some more, for hours at a time)

So I usually am afraid of reverse parking uphill. But I do it anyway.

This has not happened to me in any other car...usually ,lol.

I know I have to work on my technique.

Any advice guys? Step by step directions would be nice.

I know I am not the only one with this problem...

Be nice to the guy.
I would just suggest getting more comfortable with your car, like has been stated before, or take it to a shop if you think your clutch is the problem.

Using your parking brake...get your clutch play out until you feel the car pulling on the brake w/o stalling, then drop the e-brake down & keep on goin' . Always a good policy when you're at a stop light on a strong incline as well
