...kinda like racing in the egg-shaped Darlington....you give up some in one set of corners to go fast in the others!!

Going into T2 is threshold braking from about 80-90 mph
Going into the bowl is threshold braking to go from 100+ MPH to about 60mph
Going into T17 is braking form 100+ down to about 40 mph
If your pushing to much you are:
1) going in too fast
2) your line is not ideal
3) steering input is to abrupt
Remember, there are fast sections (which you need to take fast) and slow sections (that you need to take slow). Going fast in a slow section is a certain way to get understeer.
