Can you switch classes at the event or do I need to e-mail someone?
I hope we can switch if necessary. If it decides to get wet Sunday, I'll be slowly motoring around on street tires for sure.

Hey guys, quick question.... anyone know what the tire guidelines are to pass tech? Does the old "penny" trick hold true or is there more / less leeway than that?

I'm not sure, but you definitely check with Nicolas @ Redline. What size tires are you running and which tires need replacement?

I guess they don't have a tech inspection sheet that you need to fill out before the event.

I don't think any of 'em need replacement, I just want to check them out according to their guidelines so there are no surprises during tech

I have an extra set of RA-1's on AP1 wheels for rent. I'll bring them to the track.

Skip you the man (as always)! I'd *prefer* to hit the track on my CE28's even with street tires (if for no other reason than I'm used to them and I don't want to change any variables right before hitting the track since this will be my first outing). But if for some reason my tires cause me problems in tech and you happen to have a spare set for rent I'd gladly rent 'em from ya

Be sure to bring some N.E.R.D. Racing vinyls, too.

Yup, I'm going to have some on hand fo-sho.

I'll have a bunch for Fall Colors too

By the way, anyone going to be heading up I270 on Saturday that might want to meet up and caravan up (I live right off 270 in Rockville)?
