I'll have some XP10s for the fronts for Sunday. I'm getting them from PrincessSkipRacing on Saturday, they offer trackside purchases at a discounted price.

Anyone interested in using a DL1 datalogger for the day?
How much is the daily rental?
Since no one else seemed to be interested, I could use some help with it on Saturday.

I don't have a laptop with the software on it. You could use it, record data, and then load it on your computer at home. I just realized that when I look at it trackside, it's been with Keith's or jfo's laptop. I'd bring my home computer but I won't have my trailer.

This was the most "interesting" track event I've ever attended. There were many, many incidents including a 200hp Ford Focus that threw a connecting rod out the side of his motor just before the bridge (Tom spun in the oil but avoided the walls). There were craploads of dust clouds as people went four off. As far as I know no one was injurred today, but the ambulance crew got quite a workout.
I hope tomorrow goes better.
Instructors were allowed to run in both the intermediate and advanced groups so I got more track time than I could take--almost two full tanks of gas. My fastest lap came in the last session, a 1:42.7. Steve from NJ ran a 1:40 something! Scott didn't run today but I'm sure he'l be deep into the 30's Sunday. I've got lots of video and I'll post some to youtube in the next couple of days.
Eight of us had dinner together at the Mountain View Diner in Charlestown--had a great time.

Arrived home safely, but thank goodness for rumble strips!
It was great meeting new S2000 owners today! Dobring was my student and from NYC. Despite him being a UF Gator grad, I still rode in his car(my sister is a FSU grad).
Weather was gorgeous. Dinner was a lot for a very reasonable price. :fatcat:
Good luck to everyone tomorrow.
