SC S2000 on Shenandoah with stock brakes is NOT going to work (unless you are really slow). Short of funds$$$? Brakes are the LAST place you try and save money.

And, one of the rear tire (R888) is showing a big sign of wear. My tech thinks it'll be good for Saturday and not so sure for Sunday. 
Thinking of getting a new pair this evening but at the same time, I really want to use the current pair till it goes down to the cords. Decisions decisions....

Yeah, I know the importance of big bend. In a stock s2000, I was flat out from the exit of corkscrew through little and big bend. I thought that was no problem, but I can imagine things are going to require a little more finesse this time around.

I know what you mean. We'll have a pretty big group at this event. Plus there'll be many other drivers that I know driving at this event. Should be a blast.

Can you bring an extra set of wheels and tires? That way, you can drive on the new set on Saturday and use the old ones for Sunday. The old worn down R888's will be quicker than the newer ones if you don't shave them.
