I will win overall Street this year. bwahahaha

Except, I need better tires. I'll probably run on Sunday, just to see what this car can do.

I need to swap these lowering springs out for stock springs before then.
If you're running stock suspension, even with a SC or turbo that you have, it's doubtful. You should still try it though.

Well, I am at the track pretty often anyway (for free) so I think I will probably continue that till I find a race car/series I like. I just looked up the RedLine website and saw I would have to beat Brain Hair in his M Coupe to win street class RWD.
When I talked to him about a week ago at the shop, he didn't have a ride yet, so he might not run. I know the second place driver is running this year.

Is he running street or modified? That M3 is pretty stripped out.

He has a spec RX-7 race car and a M coupe.

On Shenandoah, Calvin couldn't be more correct. On Main, different story.

Yes, he is. Rob is, too.

Calvin, instructing and trying to participate in TT's is not advisable, and may not be fair to your students(delays getting to them, etc.).

No, thats wrong.

They are encourageing it at NASA.

TT sessions run right after group 2, so you leave the students car and run your TT sessions. You can even leave your car near the pit exit.
Practice sessions are Group 4, which is no conflict.
The only downside of running TT is you get less track time than running HPDE 4s all day, but if you're real nice they usually let you run in all the HPDE 4 sessions as well as the two TT sessions each day.

They hate me at NASA, so that wont be me

That's NASA shortchanging its Group 2 students then.

The best time to debrief a student is immediately after the session is completed. That should take at least 5 minutes. I take instructing very seriously as I was once the guy paying for said instruction.

We didn't notice any such checks and balances this past weekend.

If you are a car with an X on it, it looks like you can go out with HPDE 3 or 4 anytime. Time Trial Cars, also regardless of their class where practicing with HPDE3 and 4. We saw a few Z06 time trialers practicing with us in HPDE3.
