Are you the driver in any of the videos?
Yeah. I drive the white s2k. That is my first rwd car ever so it has been a learning experience for me over the past year. I feel that I have progressed a lot since last year though. Summit Point last year was my second rwd track day ever. I am looking forward to putting up better times this year than last.

Does the guy in the white M3 wear glasses? I think I met him last year.

I'm looking forward to the competition at Summit Point. There is always a talented pool of drivers there. It should prove to be fun..

Would a 1:45.0x be a good time for a Miata with coilovers and RA-1s? Does Redline use pitlane or T18 configuration?

T18... normal stuff we run.

RA-1's puts your car in Modified RWD. You wouldn't be the slowest, but definitely not a podium. Sorry, Pete.
I could run within a second or so of that time with some RE01Rs which would put me in a lower class? Never really thought of Time Attack since I was looking at WTW racing but that will not be happening till next year at least.

I will be there Sat, maybe I will come out and watch Sunday. Remember, if you need to pick up some time: REMOVE the wing!

Pete - the winning time in Street RWD was tenths behind Skip's time last year, so I don't think 1:45+ wouldn't even be in the top five. You should try time trials Pete. It's a lot of fun - a bit more than HPDEs. I wouldn't run time trails with a Miata in a Redline event. There's no way you would be competitive NA. On the other hand, NASA has many more classes, so your Miata could be competitive. You should class your Miata as is and see which class you fall into. They always post the TT results every NASA weekend when they hold TTs, so you could compare your times with others in your class.

Well, I am at the track pretty often anyway (for free) so I think I will probably continue that till I find a race car/series I like. I just looked up the RedLine website and saw I would have to beat Brain Hair in his M Coupe to win street class RWD.

I will win overall Street this year. bwahahaha

Except, I need better tires. I'll probably run on Sunday, just to see what this car can do.

I need to swap these lowering springs out for stock springs before then.
