Hahahaha I'm spending all my grocery money on gasoline lately, so I'll be "lil" soon enough
There was actually a report saying as much- tying our waistlines to gas prices and how they're inversely related.

I should be good for that (at least for Sat-Sun). I'd like to get weekends in at both Lightining and Thunderbolt before the season is over though.

Mani and I met a couple of cool guys at the NNJR PCA Mid-Ohio event, and they invited us to their track event at Lightening (South Jersey Chapter - or is that Jersey Shore?).
They have 2 events on Lightning.... 09/10-11 and 10/3-5.

So, who's running on Sunday in the modified class? That's the class I would run in since I don't have decent street tires. You'll need a securely mounted fire extinguisher and a fire suit to run in modified.
I found a universal mount that goes on the passenger foot well for about $130 and a fire extinguisher for around $150. A race suit is probably going to cost around $300 (didn't check the SFI rating though).

Thanks Mani. I'll most likely do the Oct. 3-5 event since it's over the weekend. The e-mail that I got from Mike also mentioned this event.

Scot and John are probably the only ones that are ready to go with that.
Does Skip have a fire extinguisher?
I don't think Cale have one.

I don't have those, so, I guess I'm spectating.

Scot and John would definitely have fire extinguishers. Their cars are gutted inside (including the dash), so I don't think they would meet the rules for modified class. Cale doesn't have a fire extinguisher. Not sure about Skip.

Mani - don't you have like 4 sets of wheels/tires left? I would guess a set of those would have street tires on it.
2 other sets with r-comps on them and 1 set with winter-tires on them.
..... and yes, I'm a wheel/tire
