I have been quite satisfied with O'Donnell Honda in Elicott City, MD. I can only speak from my experience.

I would not have been too happy with that either. I probably would have done the same thing!

ok, I'll keep that in mind. Guess I'll just have to go a bit further for good service.

I've been to Koons Honda and Rosenthal Honda and had good experiences with both. I'm a "checkbook mechanic" so I know what's to be done and why before I walk through the door, which may be why I tend not to run into any problems...

Both dealerships worked on my car promptly and took me into the shop to look at the repair work (or whatever). Both shops were fast and efficient and friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back to either one of them.

Less than average service. Every time I go, they do not acknowledge me. However, they do acknowledge other older people that come in ( I am 21 years old). So I just sit at one of the service advisors chair and just spin it and sit there until someone at least acknowledges me. Most of the time they dont.

One time I complained and the service manager got pissed at me. I know I will NEVER buy a car from these guys.

Those guys are assholes and I will never buy from them again or have any service done there. I was also given a hard time from the service manager...I think his name was Oscar Ortez or something like that.

It pays to know the management...

I swung my car into the service dept. at Koons Honda last week because for the 2nd time in a week the top wouldn't go down all the way. At first the service folk were friendly but said I would need to make an appointment.

I said never mind, and I would be back to get my car after I picked up a banner from Mr. Kody (Ron Kody, President of Koons Honda).

WOW did their attitude change!

Suddenly they were handing me business cards and asking me if I had 10 minutes to wait while they checked over everything and what can we do to help you...

After meeting Ron and telling him about the issue, he was on the phone and telling the technicians to look at my car etc. I shook hands with him and was met by a tech who compared my car to other S's in the shop and a brand-new one, lubed all the hinges, etc.

I had to laugh.

It's DEFINITELY who you know that makes the difference!

My car was in the shop for almost 2 weeks due to some valve problem. Apparently, the dealership where I bought the car new in DC area didn't do the work properly so I have been driving with low compression all this time. After the engine light came on, I took it to Casey Honda in Newport News since I relocated here. They fixed the problem under warranty. I must say I am impressed with Casey Honda Service as they loaned me a Honda Accord EX Coupe for the whole week.
