PTuning alignment: messed up, then fixed
i had a 12:00pm appointment at P-Tuning out in Manassas today...they didn't get my car onto the rack until close to 12:45 though...so much for making an appointment. anyway, it took about an hour to do, and i got my before/after specs (just standard USA alignment). the guy remarked that the steering wheel was crooked when i brought it in (duh, that's why i brought it in) and that they fixed it. i paid and left.
about 3 miles down the road, i realize that yes, my steering wheel is indeed crooked...this time, it's tilted the other way! man, was i pissed. anyway, i took it back and they put it on the machine again and finally let me eyeball the steering wheel before they did the tie-rod adjustments, etc. initially, they kept saying that it was the crowned roads, etc, but NO, it was definitely off center. anyway, by then it was 3:30 and i was pretty fed up, but they fixed it, at least. my steering wheel is now straight as an arrow and the steering itself has a weightier feel to it. overall, i'm happy that it was taken care of, finally.
+1 for PTuning, even though it's $125...they take care of ya, know their stuff, and do USA, UK, and custom alignments, no sweat. two honda dealers and an acura dealer couldn't get my steering wheel straight in the past, so it was worth the drive and expense.

Anyone, can have a rough day. It's how you handle the situation when you do. for their customer service.
Question though, it's a 2007 and you're on the fourth alignment? (Mention of experience at 3 previous dealers..)
