Default Preferred Local Mechanic / Dealership?

Hey everyone, I was wondering if there were any preferred or recommended shops or dealerships for general maintenance and service? Any shops to recommend or any places to absolutely avoid? I'd like to stay in the northern virginia area if possible but if the best places are a short drive away then I guess I'll just have to hop in the car, drop the top and go for a nice drive then....

I suggest you do it yourself. Alot of us folks on here do our own maintenance. just my $.02.

i hear ya, usually i do.... but sometimes I just can't get around to it and I have to take it in..... so in those cases I'd like to know where everyone has had good experiences and somewhere where they actually do the work that they're supposed to!

what are you trying to get done???

i would say take it to chriswell honda in germantown and talk to nguyen... he'll make sure your car is taken care off....

stay away from rosenthall honda in tysons...

i suggest if you find a place in nova... make sure the dealer has a specialized s2000 tech.....

Don't take it to jim Coleman Honda. Read my sig to see how you too, can be screwed! That's why I do all my own crap now. No matter how lazy I am.

Uh.... I do have access to a lift if you all are in the Herndon/Reston area. But I'm only available on Sundays. Not that I know what the heck I am doing but, if you all want to take your chances with me.
