Wow, lots of comments, I love the ideas that you guys are shooting me about location. It seems like the most popular areas are the maryland/delaware boarder and the northern NJ location. I might go to some looking around in the next few weeks. I almost seems like 2 locations would be needed to make the east coast happy.
otherwise have one up north for the ny people.... or have one further south.. (south of baltimore) for the mid a people...

Pole Position- FL is also a great idea. That state is saturated. However I think that Fl or Atlanta would be a totally seperate store location.

i vote for the DC area too. if you want to make it accessible to people farther north tho, then maybe Baltimore would be a good location. they have a port right there too, which i think would be good for incoming shipments.
now if we were talking about european car parts.. then yes, we'd be in the money....

wow blue, lots to say. and all of it is legit. I think that the DE/maryland boarder is the best choice for up north. The baltimore harbor is on the wrong coast and i forgot about NOPI in atlanta. thank you!

don't see how having a harbor in baltimore would help..... it's on the wrong coast... ...things from japan would go into ports on the west coast and then distributed thoughout the country, and with an autobacs already in california, i would asume that they could transfer products between the stores whenever needed...

Man, all this talk about a super autobacs close by is getting me all giddy. Ha, really what are the chances of this happening? And ,seriously not in a mean way at all, but how do you come into play in the decision of having one over here?

In all reality, i dont come into play at all, im working hard to get my in the door so i CAN be in the decision process. The chances are pretty good that we will get one over here. Im just doing the research needed and the gov't start up grant part and then propose my ideas to the proper people. I already have a few names that I need to contact from the company, but until all of my research and planning is done, i cant make the contact.
