This is true. And it would be a great location. However, it would leave out the NY area. I was thinking more around southern or norther philadelphia region because of the convience of I-95. And although this area doesn't have the most disposable imcome, there are MANY areas around that do and that would make the 1-hour trip to come. I think that a second east coast store would be perfect for that area though.
if you put it in northern philadelphia... no one south of baltimore will go up there on a regular basis.........

could always put it in deleware near the maryland border (if you wanted to go inbetween)....... no sales tax ..... and the new york metro people will just jump on the nj turnpike and be there in no time.. and us from the south will jump on 95 and get there without to much hassel.... but beyond that... pick either new york or dc....

Philly is 2.5-3hrs from NOVA, plus a whole lot of tolls.
not to mention the three metropolitan areas we'd have to drive though just to get to northern philadelphia..... (dc, baltimore, philly) one slight traffic jam in any one of those places would increase the trip time by an hour or so...

Wow, lots of comments, I love the ideas that you guys are shooting me about location. It seems like the most popular areas are the maryland/delaware boarder and the northern NJ location. I might go to some looking around in the next few weeks. I almost seems like 2 locations would be needed to make the east coast happy.

i vote for the DC area too. if you want to make it accessible to people farther north tho, then maybe Baltimore would be a good location. they have a port right there too, which i think would be good for incoming shipments.

yeah that is definitely true. think about all the tuners in FL. I think one in maybe Orlando (central location) would be a good bet.

A couple of us guys here in NOVA have been kicking around the idea of opening a shop around here. Definitly would be interested in hearing some franchise ideas and costs.

Quick AG- That is an awesome idea, however autobacs is not a franchise. I know that the NOVA area is pretty populous with our breed of car enthusiasts.

Pole Position- FL is also a great idea. That state is saturated. However I think that Fl or Atlanta would be a totally seperate store location.
