Default Pontiac Solstice sighting

I'm down in Vicksburg, MS this week on business, and this morning I walked out of the Hampton Inn and saw a nice forest-green Solstice sitting in the parking lot. Those aren't for sale yet are they? It really did look pretty cool, though the windshield frame/A-pillar was silver, which I'm not so sure about. I did notice it had Michigan plates...perhaps it was a test car being broken in? Sorry, no pics .

Anyway, not much point here...just having delusions of grandeur that I spotted an un-released car. In Vicksburg, Mississippi of all places!

No, I don't think they're out yet. I've only seen them at the last couple of shows. I like the look of them and the price.

The Crossfire has that same deal with the windshield/A-pillar color.

Saw one on Tues on my way back from NJ. Bright cherry red with the top down cruising by. Looked pretty sweet. I guess they're now just hitting the road?

Indeed, it looks really compact and sharp. Does it have a power top?

I saw one in Baltimore a couple of weeks ago with NJ tags...black one. From what I know, they are out, but just very limited distribution right now. A friend of mine was actually looking for one and called all the dealerships around DC, MD, and some in PA and VA and was told that they won't have inventory until probably October.

I do like the look of the car though - too bad it's got that Pontiac logo on it!

Also, Saturn is making a version of this car as well that I think is set to be launched sometime next summer.

I saw one in wilmington DE mid june when I was up there on business... I talked to the driver- he was an executive with GM showing to a dealer there or something. It was a nice car, but not an S2000 competitor, it was more like a miata... had the 2.2 4 they use in the caviler I belive. Although he told me they should be coming out with a turbo soon- but overall, once you get up close... I wasnt that impressed.
