Poll: Do we need a Paddy Wagon?
#1
Okay...this is our forum...so this is an open poll question to everyone that interacts on the Mid-Atlantic forum (yes...even lurkers) .
Recently, I was asked if I thought there is too much ing going on in our community? I will remain impartial to this question and simply ask each of you what you think.
Do we need a Paddy Wagon to round up all the s to refocus on S2000 stuff?
or
Is the ing mindless fun that you enjoy reading in between reading about S2000 stuff?

Mine is a qualified NO. I don't see a problem with it as long as it's confined to whoring threads. If a topic is out there, we should try to stick to it as much as possible. As for threads that don't pertain to the car, the Vintage forum is full of those - we encourage them there. It fosters a real sense of community when you know so much more about the members than what mods they are putting on their cars or the latest autox event.

Maybe if we only opened the Paddy Wagon on Event threads ? I am probably one of the biggest ing culprits, if not THE BIGGEST in here right now.
I agree - the Mod Day and Shark Meet got a tad little bit off topic and confusing for anyone trying to keep up. I also think outsiders (people who are not attending the event) keep comments to a minimum unless the comments are constructive to the event.
This is just a thought - I hope more people will post their feelings in here too

we should all try to limit ourselves in threads pertaining to events so if someone wants to find information on who what when where etc, r if plans have been changed, they dont have to read through 10 random pages.

I agree with Alex, when i originally got on the forum there were a few event threads and i had to go through pages of whoring just to get to the points and meet places.
i think on some posts (like events and such) at the top there should be a little note. "No Off Topic Discussion In This Post".... that should do the trick just nicely.
however rest of them, like the at work forum.. if we couldnt whore that one.. how the heck would alex be getting his 50ppd
