Default performance driving schools in VA?

Does anyone know of any performance-type driving schools in VA, preferably in the Hampton Roads area? I will be getting my S2000 soon, and I just want to make sure I don't wreck it in the first week

I mean, I am no rookie driver or anything, but this S2000 will be more car than I have driven before, and... hey, I'm not ashamed to say I want to learn a few techniques.

Or, if anyone on the board wants to help, I'd appreciate it Thanks guys!

Hey thanks Greg... looks like just what I was looking for! I wish it were a bit closer, but hey - that'll give me an excuse for a day trip

I've been on the track at VIR (http://www.virclub.com/), but I have not attended a school there. Carguys (http://www.carguysinc.com/) offers courses there too.

There's talk about a new track being built half-way between Richmond and Williamsburg so if that comes true, it'll become the closest track to us and I'm sure someone will offer some driver's course. I think we're stilla ways off from seeing this track. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...t=dragons+ridge

Good to know - thanks! I was able to go out during the lunch break of an SVRA event.

Yeah, after a Miata rolled over I think.
