Default Perfect timing. If I do say so myself

So Im all excited to go to the dragon for the first time and im getting everything ready.Decided to change all the fluids and install new front brake pads and flush the lines to put in some nice new ATE Superblue.Install went off without a hitch.Flushed all the lines..put the fluid in...flushed lines again..everything was put back together again.Pumped the brakes...YUP a leak...bad seal in the left rear caliper! So now im scrambling to find another caliper 2 days before I leave to go to the dragon...PERFECT TIMING! So needless to say..if i dont come up with one and get it installed by Thursday am...Im not going A waste of $75. SO if anyone has one laying around that i could snatch up REALLY soon PLEASE let me know..Thanks for listening.

HTG sells a caliper rebuild kit from his site. I will cost you some, but I bet you could get it overnighted.

HTG Rear Caliber Rebuild Kit

Just a thought...

Rebuilding is a pain... I did one. The sound of shooting the piston out is alarming.

I'll go into the garage and see if I have one. I have two extra rear calpiers, however, I believe they are both RR. One is brand spanking new and the other is used.

I also have the rebuild kits at my house.

No worries... Glad to help.

I have no idea how to do the work, though... I have never tried that sort of thing before. Good luck!

It's easier with a second set of hands or the proper tools. It was frustrating doing it myself for the first time. I would suggest having it done at a shop since you are on a time crunch. You really don't want the anxiety of possible brake failure anywhere, but especially not on the Dragon.
