I am about 90% sure I can make it. I would hook up somewhere along the route, but not in Chantilly. Whatever makes sense from Linden.
Sounds like a great time and I know George always finds good roads.

It's going to me the same place we met for the last drive.

This is getting to be pretty popular!
In the interests of keeping the numbers down for ease of "management," I may have to lock up the group. Drives tend to get too complicated with more than 10 cars.
I would appreciate it if those still on the fence could get back to me ASAP with a or .

FRS actually stands for Family Radio Service. They are short range walkie-talkie type radios that operate in the UHF radio spectrum.
They used to be pretty expensive but, if I recall correctly, they have come down a bunch in recent years. The technology isn't all that old... Maybe like 10 years or so... You may also want to look into a set with some sort of hands free device. I have found mine to be VERY useful. It is often hard to hear the speaker while driving top down.

This might be a dumb question, but: Do you know if CB's and FSR's operate in the same channels / frequencies? Are they compatible?

hmm, this sound like fun but I have a CDC autoX on Sturday, a Mercedes autoX on Sunday and of course the CDC/NERD Racing HPDE on Monday.
I suppose I could skip an autoX?
