Pete bailed.

Please, everyone... Take a moment to point and laugh at him. We should also take the time to explain to him exactly how much fun he missed out on.

Okay... So... The weather forecast ain't lookin all that hot.

The drive is still on and we are still going to have fun. Should conditions become less than ideal, adjustments to the route will be made. No biggy... Good times will still be had...

All of the confirmed participants should have my phone number in their PM's. If you do not, send me one and I'll get back to you.

Otherwise... See you in the AM.

Thanks to everyone who came out today for the drive! It was an absolute BLAST (while it lasted... ). Everyone minded their P's and Q's and all had a wonderful day of rolling through the hills. We even managed to dodge the minor oxygen boding with hydrogen event.

I am sorry that my mishap killed what was an otherwise great day. Dan... Please post up the pics of the trouble I managed to get myself into...

I haven't had a chance to talk to anybody at the shop but I am sure all will be well in short order. The good news is that I am 100% a-okay and my car made it to the shop in once piece (very good tow-truck driver) and I got home, too. Wouldn't have been possible without the patience of Jim, George, and Cale. Thanks, guys!!!!

Off now to get going with the insurance company...

I'm glad to hear your car got to the shop safely and you got home. Thanks for organizing this trip - it was a blast!

Looking forward to seeing some good pics - most of mine came out crappy. It was a pleasure meeting all of you guys for the first time... I have a horrible memory for names, so if I ask you guys in the future, I apologize now

Thanks. I'm sure there will be more drives... This was WAY too much fun (beyond the obvious) to do only once.

Don't feel bad about the names thing... I struggle with that, too.

Couple pics of the aftermath.
Hardest part was explaining to Joe and Billy Bob exactly how those rocks jumped in front of Jeff...
(all seriousness... Jeff did an amazing job keeping the majority of his car on the road!)

UHOH...a gravel event?? Did you manage to do most of the drive beforehand? Glad the damage wasn't too serious. Weather here was wonderful - low 80s. Seems you had good weather, too.
