So is anyone else excited about the upcoming launch of GT4 (other than Skip who has it pre-ordered)? I loved GT3, and this long-awaited sequel is supposed to be even better. Anyone have a wheel / pedal combo that they use with their PC or PS2 for racing games and plan to use for GT4?

No, just a controller. No online play for GT4.

 

Just picked up my reserved copy of the special edition set of Halo 2. If you have an XBox this game is a must!

 

Bonuses should be out by the time I come back from vacation. So I'll pickup xbox with that (since they have good bundle packages out now for xmas).

Project Gotham Racing 2

I guess I want to get xbox live and the dvd kit as well.

No other recommendations for the XBOX accessories Evan - maybe an extra controller? I think the subscription on XBOX Live is cheaper if you buy a card for it up front - usually comes in 3 or 12 month time spans.

I would scratch Gotham Racing and get Need for Speed: Underground 2 instead. If you are going to get Halo 2, then I don't see a reason to get the first one (you can't play the first one online unless you get a special program).

Might want to think about Knights of the Old Republic 2 and MechAssault 2 as well - those should be cool, and both are multiplayer-able.

 

i have my copy of halo 2 since midnight of the 9th.

been playing it a lot. great game. everyone who has a xbox needs to get this game, and if you have broadband connection, you MUST sign up for Live. it is well worth it.

Now, who wants to challenge me. i think we should start a S2k clan.
