Joe and I rewired the room to be more accomodating to longterm play. 
Can't wait to finish the downstairs. It's going to be great, especially when I don't have to listen to the kitchen floor squeeking anymore.

All I know is ya'll need to come out to Maidens, VA and join in on some pleasant 39.7Kbps (on a good day 
)... Even still, I reckon I played Counterstrike for the better part of 2 years. Loved the livin' hell outta that game. Got fragged all too often due as much as anything to connection times I suppose (because when I'd find good 2am connections -- by that I mean 43Kbps ), I'd do damned good 
. Still, being stuck with a phone line kills my desire to get the PS2 up and running online. I'd definitely dig some racing competition on this machine. Especially as I would assume you're not stuck with split screens (which is a major downer when playing 2-player, etc. together in the same home). Xbox seems like a fun system for sure...but I'd be no better off with my piss-poor connection speeds. And if we continue our plans to move further westward, not likely to get any better

oh btw, i was messing around with NFSU online a couple weeks ago... i don't like their online setup, but it was smooth gameplay.

It sounds like I'm the only person with a copy of Halo 2 right now - if I'm not please speak up because the XBOX Live games as so much easier to set up when have your list of players already made up.
