Default !!! Oil Bolt Recall - What has anyone in the area done to explore this issue?

I am very concerned about the recall that was issued on S2000's in Europe related to the "banjo" oil plugs. I have reason to beleive that my car's performance and longevity has been affected by this issue. The thread is located here:

Let me forewarn you. There is a lot of noise in this thread about various side-topics (speculation about Honda's true intention regarding recalls, the seemingly different driving habits between drivers in the US and Europe). Let me encourage you all in advance to look past that and to focus on the relevant issue at hand.
