Ok guys after someone mentioned that cthree was keeping an eye on us I had a conversation with him and he informed me that in fact he was NOT watching this thread, and that he was not opposed at all to a fourth CO. Although I decided to speak again with the Bills and the conclusion of that conversation resulted in us remaining with the 3 CO set-up.
Although I think 4 CO's would be more ideal to keep NOVA active, I simply dont have the time to organize any other area other than my own at this time. With that said, I am more than willing to start and monitor a thread for a member wishing to organize a meet or host one and not wanting to deal with monitoring it constantly.
Now, With THAT said. Here is the deal, to keep this community as active as it was the past year, we need more member participation, Ive noticed that this year the community decided to sit back and wait for a CO to organize something, I cant remember how many times I heard at a meet "So organize that up Brian!" our responsibility is outlined as "assisting the organization of a meet" this does not mean the CO's are going to stop organizing on their own, but if your interested in hosting or have an idea for a meet, PLEASE post this or pm your local CO. I dont care if the meet is in an area 200 miles from me, I would be MORE than happy to post and watch the thread so you can have the meet you wish to have. Just ask! It may start out as 3 cars, but eventually it will turn into 6, then 10, then 20. This is exactly what happened in baltimore, all it takes are a few members who WANT their area to build up, and it will happen. Not overnight though, keep at it!
The fact is, NOVA was not active at all this year, and this is not Bills fault. I saw him at plenty of meets sharing his knowledge and helping others and that goes above and beyond what is asked of him as a CO, so his duties are being MORE than fufilled in my eyes. So any comments about Bill not doing what he is supposed to are simply untrue.
These are the final conclusions of where the community stands at the moment, we will remain with 3 CO's and hopefully have more member participation in ALL parts of the mid-atlantic. This is my last post in here since I think from here we need to put this to rest and move on to a new year. This was a VERY successful year, and the most active Ive seen since being here, lets build on the momentum we have and make next year EVEN BETTER. We appreciate all of your opinions and suggestions (negative and positive) and let it be known I personally meant no Ill-will toward anyone, I just wanted my opinion heard like all of you did.

Because it was emotional - which it should be .....this isn't all business!
I'm glad to hear we're not going to be adding another CO, and that the community got a "reality check". You can CO from your keyboard by telling someone how to put things together.
If any CO's feel bad after this thread, don't! Turn this whole mess into a positive - use it to change the tune of "only CO's start meets" into "anyone can start a meet and we CO's will help you organize it" - whether that is by PMing someone good instructions on how to set things up, or by being that guy behind the scenes who never gets any immediate credit - someone physically at the meet who tells the organizer when to round people up for a driver's meeting or that things are getting a little crazy.....anything.
This thread woke me up to realize the new CO's don't receive much help, but never realized they could ask for it. I'm here to help
I'm sure some of the other past CO's will be happy to aid too - just drop us a line.

LOL the more things change the more they stay the same, I've seen this same thread numerous times here in the Mid-A. Unfortunately it is too cold for GOGOGO to throw a pool party this time.
As has been repeated many times in this thread, anyone can organize a meet or event. It's not like S2ki is an official sanctioning body who provides insurance or benefits at the meets. You could always go join the S2KCA if that is the structure you want.
And just for the fun of it I nominate Gregg, Randy, Rick and Fed as COs.
