Only if I had a garage...

So anyways just picked up some products to work with since I just got a PC for xmas.

Menzerna SIP
Menzerna Final Polish
Menzerna Power Lock

LC CCS Orange, Gray, Blue pads

Autogym HD Wax to top it all off.

Hopefully I find a place to knock this out one of these weekends and post up some pictures.

You should add some Optimum No Rinse if you don't have a garage.

Find a friend/neighbor/family member that has a garage to complete the detail in. You don't want to polish in sunlight.

IYHO, are the products I have good? I'll have to look into ONR. I think the products I have will do a good bit of correction that is needed for my car.

Yeah, for a first timer you should be happy with those polish/sealant. Once you get some experience you'll know more of what you want/don't want in terms of products.

Awesome thread idea Jason!

Here is a 09 Titanium Grey R35 I did last weekend. The car had nearly 20k on the clock and had been to 30+ HDPE events so is was very brake dusty in the wheel wheels to say the least. Another note this particular car came with Nissan's "Hard Clear Coat" finish so it was in fantastic shape and only needed spot polishing.

Main products used:

-2 Bucket method Lusso Auto Bathe +2oz of Meg's APC
-Clayed with Uber Blue Clay/ONR Clay Lube
-Menzerna 106FA with Uber Blue pad
-Menzerna Power Lock with Microfiber Block
-Dodo Juice Supernatural with yellow foam hand applicator

On with the before pics...

2 Bucket wash DP Soap+2oz of Megs APC

Wheel well's need extra love.. Megs APC 4:1 and Sonax FE

Clay for the baked on stuff....

EZ Brush on the suspension bits..

Large fender brush on the inside..

OK here is a test to put to bed the Sonax FE VS. BMW private label stuff.

BMW goes on clear and foams up pretty good. Cleaned pretty well for only 8 bucks a bottle.

SV Autobahn for the wheels and calipers..

SV Pneu on the tires..

Clay.. Uber blue+ ONR clay lube

One section of hood..

Car was very clean so only spot correction was needed. Uber blue pad+106FA

Only found one deep scratch..

Removed..

A-Pillars needed help..

Menzerna Power Lock Sealant..

Dodo Juice Supernatural for LSP

Looks good Nick. What shop is that? Have you opened your own detail shop yet?
