Default Noise from valvetrain

I just got my car back today. I have an AP1 and installed AP2 retainers and keepers on both the intake and exhaust side. After the install, I've noticed some tapping noise coming from the valvetrain area. I've had some noise prior to installation with the stock ap1 retainers and keepers. However, with the newly installed parts, it seems like the noise level has gone up.

Is this normal? Should I get it checked again?

O yes, and I just had my valve adjusted.

Thanks.

Just wanted to add, oil is filled up and this occurs when the engine gets warmer.

TCT maybe? I fought a tapping noise. Did valves and it stayed, changed oil and it stayed, did the timing chain tensioner and it went away. And like yours the noise was a lot more noticeable when warmed up. Also, all my passengers would say it sounded like it was coming from their side. (the side the TCT is on)

Yea, i was thinking it might've been that, but after listening to some clips, my car didn't sound as loud as others. Here is what my car sounds like, but this isn't my car:

That is exactly what it sounded like. You can really here it when you are next to a wall or building in traffic. Its a ten minute job to replace the TCT. And I am totally for checking the valves again. You can never be too safe

If it didnt tap before and now does. Must be the valves I suspect

Did they drop foreign matter in the head?

They need to be adjusted cold.

Check the spark plugs

I'd recheck the valves and change the TCT. I had a similar problem with the car making an awful valve tap when the car warmed up and it ended up being the TCT
