Worked a full day but I don't have to drive...just hop on the Metro then walk home. I see 8+ inches coming for the DC area. What a drag! Headed to Phoenix in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!!

This snow is really bad. I actually got my AWD Subaru stuck in the middle of a parking lot!

I'd suggest keeping your Hondas in the garage for a few days. I almost hit a telephone pole, too, going around a turn at slow speeds. Be safe, guys!

Geez, did WV get slammed with snow? We've got two inches so far since yesterday morning. It's slushy and icy and I still haven't gotten stuck in the subby; actually, I've never gotten stuck in the Roo at all. Bad WV drivers

Haha, what happened was I went to a gravel parking lot that hadn't been salted or sanded or had anything done to it. There was literally 3 inches of ice, and then 5 inches of snow on top of that. The snow wasn't soft or anything, so when I stopped the car to switch drivers (teaching a friend M/T), the car wouldn't go anywhere. Luckily I had 3 friends who didn't mind pushing me.

But, yeah, that was the first time I've ever gotten the car stuck. Maybe it's the 225 tires I just put on. Wider != better with snow.

Yea, ice will do it to ya! Also to be fair, I have approx 100lbs of audio equipment in the trunk to help weigh down my hatch of a rear end.
