I have been following this for a while now, and it looks official now:
"DragonsRidge Motorsports Park, in New Kent County, will be built in several phases over a 20-year period, will include a 2.95-mile road track, a clubhouse, a campground, shops, a residential component, a museum and a conference center and lodge. It's slated for 616-acre site near Interstate 64 and Route 33 in the eastern part of the county."
"Now that the county has approved re-zoning for the project, Hampton-based developer Dominion Land Ventures hopes to open the first stage of the site by spring 2006, said company spokesperson Ve McMillan."
-From The Daily Press, June 8-

No details yet, they just approved it and is still a couple of years from being built. Let's keep our fingers crossed that they will be more like Summit Point and not like VIR...

Ah New Kent county.....the only place in the world that I know of where every place sells gizzards and chitlins, but a round of golf costs $300 and then you can walk next door to legally bet on horse races
This is exciting news Dan! Let's hope the first phase is finished soon
