Default New head unit opinions? Whats yours on this?

Also posted in electronics but I figured I would get some mida opinions too.

I have an 03 S2000 and am looking to upgrade the stock radio. Here is what I am looking for..

In order of importance

Fits stock area (and face plate doesnt hit anything when the motorized drop thing happens to insert a cd)
Will work with some adapter (DCI etc) to make left of steering wheel controls functional
Good sound of course
Sub outputs
Bling factor something that will look flashy and show animations etc.
XM ready (Already have the XM antenna and brain installed)
I would prefer for button/knob lighting etc to be blue

I was at best buy the other day just for ideas and saw these:

Alpine CDA 9855
Pioneer DEH 7700M
Pioneer DEH 6700M

any opinions on these decks or suggestions of other decks? Thanks guys for helpign me get my ideas in order I want to do this right

Uh.. it's a regular sized single DIN.. you can put anything in it. It all depends on your personal taste and what features you want. www.crutchfield.com

Btw I pick alpine... I'm just biased though... I don't even know what models those are...

Although I do have a Pioneer in my S right now.

Personally, I'd stay away from Pioneer. I've had bad experiences with them. I'd say go with Alpine. It was the last deck that I have owned. It was one of thebest decks that I have owned.

Check out www.infinitecaraudio.com. They've got some pretty good deals.

Cardomain.com has good deals on a lot of head units, but they don't carry Alpine or Eclipse.

Go with the Alpine...I'm not a big fan of Pioneer either. Or you can put a nasty exhaust on your car and don't worry about the stereo.

I have the Alpine 9855. Its a good unit, the glide touch takes some getting used to though ... Playlist selection on an iPod is still a PITB imho, especially since it doesn't remember the playlist you had selected last, at least in my case thats the way it works, maybe cuz I unplug the iPod and take it with me.

Don't buy it from BestBuy though, you can get it much cheaper online.
