I was actually looking into this myself. The local Bartending School's program consists of the following:
Drink preparation and presentation 28 hours
Customer service and legal aspects 4 hours
Product knowledge and inventory 4 hours
Bar setup and Proper pouring 1 hours
Job search skills 2 hours
Opening and closing establishment 1 hours
Total 40 hours

Real Estate takes up a lot of your time if u want to make money...so im not sure if that is a good idea..u already have a full time job...so it can be a headache...i would go for the bartending..u can do that at nights and on the weekends to make some extra doe...if u decide on the accounting then i would get more than just general knowledege...know it in-depth and u can def get paid..

real estate was something I always wanted to do. Until I picked up this job. And I def. want to learn into it. If I don't become an agent, at least I want to use my knowledge to do investment. And as far as the bar tending school and accounting. That's something for what I plan to do in the future.

Princess,

I went to the professional bartending school. They made it sound like you can get a job with the training.....BS.

I applied at about 50 of the listings they supply and didn't even get the time of day! From what I hear, you have to bar back (or be a really hot girl) for years before you can serve in the DC area.

It was just for kicks, so I suppose it doesn't matter. I was disapointed in the hype of easy employment though.
