They are progressive, they are kind of firmer, and the drop is perfect!! Next best thing to coilovers... IMO

I agree with Bill and Terry. I had Espilir's on stock struts for a year and a half. They rode awesome, performed well, and the drop was superb. The only reason I sold them was because I wanted to go lower. I got the Koni Yellow's with Ground Control coilovers.

I have the Tein S techs. Nice drop. Espilar's are good as well..
About the shocks. When i purchased my car, it had 55k on it. I lowered it roughly at that time with stock ap2 shocks.
around 100k, I swapped out the shocks for a set of ap2 shocks with roughly 20k on them. And to be honest with you, it made a big difference. I didn't rub so much, they didn't compress very much over bumps, less body roll around corners. They weren't blown, and the 100k ones worked, but i could feel them wearing out.
If you go with some stock shocks, they'll work fine if you aren't doing heavy driving.

Yeah that's what I mean I don't want to use my current struts due to the miles on them. What I'm probably going to end up doing is seeing if I can find low mileage OEM struts and then buy the springs and have them pre-assembled and toss my current ones for scrap. I just gotta keep my eyes posted for a gently used set of OEMs.
Again thanks guys for all your input. Definately gave me more confidence on the purchase. Also as fas as the alignment, any special specs that it should be set at? I know its only a one to one half inch drop but I don't want it to chew the tires up.
