Default Need some opinions on a suspension setup.

So I've been thinking about lowering the S. Its my DD so I'm not dropping a thousand plus for a coilover setup since its never going to see the track. I was looking at doing the Espelir springs w/ OEM struts. My OEMs are tired/worn out after 118k miles so I'm not going to be using my current struts/shocks. I thought also about doing the Espelirs with Konis. I've also seen the Tien setups. I want a nice drop w/o having to roll my fenders with a overall good ride. Again I'm not much worried about tight handling since it will never see a track or autox event. I just want to see what everyone is riding around on that has a good feel to it. Thanks guys.

What wheels and offsets are you running?

That's gunna make a diffrence with how low you can go? More then likey you will need a roll I would think

I have stock AP2V1 wheels. Stock tire size front and rear. Nothing crazy.

just to let you know, struts either work or they are blown...there is nothing inbetween.
So as long as your shocks work, you'll be fine.

Ground controls. Dial in the exact height that you want front and rear. Choose whatever spring rate you want. Perfect fitment. Lifetime warranty. Try running 340 front and 300 rears.

I would get Koni shocks if you can afford it, otherwise you could just pick up a slightly used set of OEM shocks.

Here is my thought on that. I mean I'm sure they work after 118k miles but putting on lowering springs will add more stress to the already old struts/shocks then eventually it will really blow out and ill have to do the work all over again. I'm probably just going to find a set of used set of struts/shocks and use those.

What makes them so good? The cost?

I am not a fan of how this car feels at the limit with lowering springs on OEM struts. JMO.
