Default Need info on top body and repair facilities

Hello all. I know its been a while since I've been on the site. Been too busy lately, but I had an accident with my S2K Friday night and I need some advice.

I was coming from downtown Baltimore when it started pouring down rain, practically in buckets. I was being real careful, but I guess there was just too much rain and I hydroplaned in to a Jersey wall. The left front hit first, that spun the car around and the left rear hit the wall. T I was okay, but my poor, beautiful S2K is hurt The laftrear suspension is torn up, all those components will have to be replaced, the left rear quarter panel is bashed in, has to be replaced, the front bumber and both fenders are bent, rear bumper smashed. I'm worried if the frame is straight. Will post pics later if I can.

My question is what shop comes highly recommended for top notch repair work with body and suspension damage? I talked to a dealer in the area and they said they send out all their body work. I want this repaired right as this is a special car, not just a Civic (not to upset Civic owners). I don't want body panel straightening to a point, then just cake on the body putty. I want new panels, bolted and welded the right way.

Can anyone recommend a realy good shop in the Baltimore or DC area? Thanks for your help. If you'd like you can email me at warren_watson@msn.com I need your assistance soon, don't know how much longer I can keep driving my P.O.S. Ford Ranger.

Well, Warren..looks like Red just ain't the color to have this month. Sorry to hear about your wreck but the important thing is that you're OK. I can totally sympathize w/ where you're coming from.

I once again recommend my friend Mark Boudreau and his shop, Spectrum Painting and Collision Center in Arlington (Shirlington really). I know it would be a long haul up from Bawlmer but it's worth it.

Their address is:

4068 S. Four Mile Run Drive
Arlington, VA 22206

Phone: 703-671-2402

They've done a ton of work on S2000's. And here's a recent testimonial.

Ask for Mark and tell him I sent you.

Damn! Sorry to hear that Warren.

I took mine S2K to Clarksville Auto Center when I had my accident and they did an excellent job on it. Their phone number is 410-531-5656. It's right next to my work (Jim Coleman Honda).

Address: 12188 Clarksville Pike, Route 108 Clarksville, MD 21029

OMG! Sorry to hear about you mishap. I'm sure everything will get fixed back to normal. I got caught in a rainstorm the other night too..........when it's raining I slow down so much I create traffic jams.
