Default Need Help purchase a GTR

I have a friend who is coming back in the country in the next few months. He want me to get him a GTR. He understand the over MSRP thing on the GTR. But he still want to get the best possible deal. Does anyone know people in the Nissan dealership around here. I can give a deposit if I can find him a GTR that's reasonable.

The BEST deal you're going to find will be being put on a waiting list. Of course that will be a LONG wait, you shouldn't have to pay the crazy mark-up.

For real, I have already heard the wait is over 14 months from a couple people, one who has already placed his 15k deposit and was told 9-12 months.

I have a buddy down here in Waldorf... I work at the Toyota dealer down here and you know how the business goes. I'll ask to see if he can put you higher on the list.... I'll get back to you ASAP

Hell, you can snag a low mileage 997 GT3 off Ebay. That's where I'll be getting mine.
